Something Blue is Blooming

Thanks to the Old English tradition, brides all around the globe seek good fortune through “Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.” Today, we’re focusing on the latter, your something blue. When done tastefully, this fun superstition can be beautiful.

Here are some creative, but always luxurious, ways to incorporate this long-time tradition into your big day.

Bridal Bouquet:

There are so many beautiful blue florals you can include in your actual arrangement. But if you want to keep it subtle, tie it together with a silky blue ribbon, or one of our faves, scatter blue crystals throughout the plush bouquet to add sophisticated sparkle.

Bridal Suite:

One of the best things you can do for yourself on your big day is a custom bridal suite, where we set the tone for an exquisite bridal shoot. Surround yourself with fluffy blue florals or add it in the feminine detailing of your robe and slippers.

Room Décor:

Blue can be quite glamourous and make a beautiful color scheme (check out this all-blue décor here). But, if you want to keep it subtle, and if it compliments the overall room, add blue in the details - candlesticks, dinnerware, napkins, a wrapped tabletop, or a few blue flowers scattered throughout your arrangements.

Shoes & Monogramed Accessories:

Customize your shoes with blue Swarovski crystals for a pop. You can also bring in some fun monogramed accessories for pictures. Some of our faves? A glam clutch, a custom “Mrs.” hanger for your gowns, or a leather jacket for some edge against your couture.

Bonus:

We’ll happily wear blue 😉 and make your day look magical.
