Before you hire a florist, what should you ask to ensure they will exceed your expectations? Here are 5 questions you should ask your future design expert.
1. May I See Your Portfolio?
Let the work speak for itself. This will immediately give you a good idea of a florist’s style, versatility, and quality of work.
2. Where Can I see Your Reviews?
Here, you’re looking to make sure you will enjoy working with them. Your florist should be patient, confident, professional, and ultimately you shouldn’t have to worry that they will fulfill your vision.
3. What is Your Relationship like with other Vendors?
It takes an army of talented vendors to make your luxury celebration come to life, successfully. Your florist needs to have good relationships with planners and other production vendors. Not only so they can make good recommendations, but also be a team player.
4. What Type of Florals Do You Suggest?
You may already have an idea of what you want, but this will tell you a lot about their style, knowledge of trends, and ultimately expertise in flowers.
5. What Arrangements do You Specialize in?
You want to make sure your florist can execute what you need. Some specialize in bouquets only, but you may need an entire floral structure (or a ceiling that drips in crystal garland). This will ensure you logistically have a good match.
