A Little Extra Holiday “Cheers”

You’re probably commencing your favorite holiday traditions. We’re here with a little extra cheer that will be a yummy addition throughout the week for our 21 and over readers. As you gather around your Christmas tree with the ones you love, enjoy sipping on these merry cocktails (or mocktails)!

Rosewater Bubbles

Inspired by the timeless rose, this drink is simple, but beautiful. Pop a bottle of sparkling rosé for that beautiful Rosewater hue and garnish your drink with fresh rose petals. A sleek glass of bubbly is always celebratory.

Looking for a mocktail option? Substitute sparkling rosé for a glass of sparkling cider.

Poinsettia Mimosa

Inspired by the classic Christmas plant, this mix is festive in color and refreshing in taste, adding a welcomed balance to all the rich flavors during the holidays. Not to mention, its bold color feels fancy.

Here’s What You Need:

  • Chilled Cranberry Juice

  • Chilled Champaign

  • Chilled Orange liqueur

  • Fresh Oranges

  • Fresh Rosemary

  • Fresh Cranberries

  • Sugar

Here’s What You Do:

  1. Wet the rim of your Champaign flute with a fresh orange slice and dip it in sugar.

  2. Pour a dash of orange liqueur and add your cranberry juice (you ultimately determine the proportions of each ingredient).

  3. Top off with Champaign.

  4. Garnish with fresh rosemary and cranberries

Looking for a mocktail option? Substitute the orange liqueur for orange juice (we opt for freshly squeezed), and the Champaign for club soda (or an alcohol-free prosecco).

Mudslide

A mudslide is the ultimate adult treat. Rich in texture, this drink is a creamy coffee flavor, drenched in chocolate. Can it get yummier?

Here’s What You Need:

  • Blender

  • Chocolate syrup

  • Vodka

  • Kahlua

  • Baileys

  • Ice cream (If you want a mixed drink instead of a milkshake consistency, chill your ingredients ahead of time and substitute ice cream with heavy cream)

  • CUBED Ice (crushed ice melts too quickly)

  • Chocolate shavings (or sprinkles)

Here’s What You Do:

  1. Rim your glass in chocolate. Use as much or as little as you want.

  2. In your blender add vodka, Kahlua, Baileys, ice cream, and ice cubes (you ultimately determine the proportions of each ingredient). Blend to a milkshake consistency.

  3. Garnish with chocolate shavings.

Looking for a mocktail option? Eliminate vodka and Baileys and substitute the Kahlua with cold brewed coffee. Amp up the chocolate for an extra decadent dessert beverage.

Cheers, darlings!
